In this life, we meet so many people. Some become our very good friends, while some possess an attitude that we don't even wish to see them ever. Well, it hardly matters who does what, but it's not true with the people who are close to our heart. This is another story of mine, about a person who is a good friend now. He is worthy enough that I gave in some time to write a few lines for him. Here it goes....
A few months ago, during the recruitment day, this man was recording our interviews, and it was a campus placement. I hardly looked at him or remember his face at that time. Behind the camera, his innocent face hardly visible. I wanted to look at him just once, but the situation didn't allow me to do so; although at last I took a glance at him and soon the day was over.
However, I met him again after I joined my new office (unfortunately, I was given the appointment letter). The first day, I entered the office and found him sitting with a desktop. Busy with his work, he hardly had time to look here and there. Everyday, he used to talk only with some of his close friends. Every morning, I used to have several eye contacts with him but never dared to utter a single word. The moment our eyes used to meet, I wanted to greet him, he is the senior after all. Nevertheless, I couldn't do so due to my introvert nature, as just "keep on thinking to do something" never allowed me to do most of the things in my life.
Days passed and we were introduced to each other, started knowing each other or rather our silence started talking (that is what I believe). Though he is a man with few words, he would always love to have endless conversation with the ones he understands very well. Like other people, he would never look at you with lechery or lust in his eyes. His decent smile is enough to understand the rough and tough side of his personality. He would always take care of us, and is indeed a friend. Simple, innocent, disciplined, focused- these are some of the words that best describe him in my eyes.
I would just say that "he is truly a man with dignity", who is worth being called a friend, brother, guide, mentor, and philosopher. May he be the same always.....!!!
